Notes of the User Group meeting for Dudley Road School held on 10th January, 2011 at the Community Centre, Dudley Road.
Present: Keith Madden, Sophie Padget, Jivan Banger, Gemma Cooper, Katie Rea, Michael Hartshorn, Donna Rawton (all University of Wolverhampton), Richard Carr (Love and Care), Tony Buncie (Love and Care), Dave Mills (local resident), Sam Henry (Youth Service), Lee Smith (Youth Service), Shujja Zafar (All Saints Action Network), Alvin Vernon (Pisces), Mike Swain (All Saints Action Network).

2.   Presentation from Keith Madden: Keith briefly set out his ideas concerning the holding of an exhibition in the Community Centre in early April. The exhibition would be called “Form”. The exhibition would involve a range of art forms including photography, sculpture, working in plastic, abstract painting and working with various materials.The students would set the exhibition up  in the two rear rooms of the building. Keith to liase with Sam over the details. Keith needed to promote the event and would set out some ideas about how he was going to do this nearer the time. Various people offered help in advertising. Keith to let us know what sort of help he might need.

The meeting agreed that the exhibition should be supported and that Keith would come back to us with more details by email.
3.Notes of the last meeting: The notes were agreed as a true record. It was noted that the Boxing Club have now moved in. It was agreed that we should now start to establish a booking system for new groups so that arrangements could be formalised. All asked to consider potential interested parties. Bookings would be managed through the User Group meeting. Mike offered to check out insurance and other risk issues. Lee was checking out the alarm system which had been giving some trouble. Sam confirmed that the Youth Service have an entertainments licence in place.
The position with regards to metering utilities now seems to be clearer – sub meters exist for St.Peter’s project and separate billing appears to be taking place.
